Israel announced on Wednesday (March 4th) that it had launched a "broad wave" of new strikes on Iran, as the war in the Middle East enters its fifth day.

Lebanon is not to be outdone. Numerous detonations were heard in the country of the cedar, which was already recording a dozen deaths early in the morning.

Iran continues to launch missiles against Israel and the Gulf in retaliation. The growing impact of the regional conflict is sending oil prices soaring and scaring markets, especially in Asia where the Seoul Stock Exchange has been suspended after a sharp fall. (RFI, 2026-03-04)
